Koel Labs Terms and Conditions
Effective date: September 10, 2026.
These Terms govern use of Koel Labs LLC's general websites and community spaces. Slay Speech and Koel Companion are governed by the Slay Speech Terms. Public code, models, and datasets are governed by their accompanying licenses; these Terms do not override those licenses.
By using our sites after having an opportunity to review these Terms, you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information.
Be a constructive participant
Follow our Code of Conduct. Do not threaten or harass people, post unlawful or infringing material, disclose private information without authority, send spam or malware, impersonate someone, or interfere with our systems. We may moderate content or restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect the community, enforce these rules, or comply with law. Contact us if you believe a moderation decision is mistaken.
Third-party posts are their authors' views, not necessarily ours. External links do not imply endorsement. Platforms such as GitHub apply their own terms to your use of their services.
Your contributions
You retain the rights you have in your posts and contributions. You must have authority to submit them; licensed material does not have to be exclusively yours. By posting publicly, you grant us a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free permission to host, reproduce, display, format, and distribute the contribution as needed to operate and preserve that public project or discussion. Code contributions follow the applicable repository license and any contribution agreement disclosed for that project.
Public history, forks, and lawful copies may remain after you remove a post. Product suggestions may be used without payment unless we separately agree otherwise; accompanying personal information remains subject to the applicable privacy policy.
Our materials
Our website designs, branding, and original materials belong to us or our licensors. You may link to them and share our public posts for noncommercial purposes with attribution, subject to any license attached to the material. Other reproduction or commercial reuse requires permission unless allowed by law or an applicable open license. No trademark license or endorsement is implied.
General educational materials may be incomplete or outdated and are not professional advice. We may update or retire pages and features. Material paid-service obligations, if any, are governed by the relevant product agreement and consumer law.
Responsibility and disputes
To the extent permitted by law, these general sites and materials are provided “as is” and “as available,” without additional warranties of accuracy, availability, merchantability, fitness, or noninfringement. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses to the extent the law permits exclusion. Our aggregate liability arising from these general sites is limited to the greater of USD $100 or the amount you paid us for the affected general-site service in the previous 12 months.
Nothing here excludes liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer and privacy rights or liability for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, or personal injury where protected by law. Open-source licenses supply their own warranty and liability terms for their components.
Washington State law applies subject to mandatory protections where you live. Subject to those protections, disputes may be brought in the state or federal courts with jurisdiction in King County, Washington. You retain any mandatory right to use your local courts. There is no mandatory arbitration or class-action waiver in these Terms.
If part of these Terms is unenforceable, the rest remains effective where lawful.
